The third and deciding game of the CBL championship was won by the Braintree White Sox by a final score of 8-3. The title was their 24th overall, which ties them with the Easton Huskies as the most dominant franchise in league history. Braintree won their 9th straight title and 15th in the last 16 years under the leadership of PJ Thompson.

Braintree jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the top of the 1st. Matt Foley hit a 3-run homer to highlight the scoring. Scituate responded with 2 runs in the bottom of the 1st, but aside from a run in the 7th, that was all the offense they could generate against starter and complete game winner Ray Boutiett. League MVP George Slauson also homered in the game for Braintree.
