From outstanding pitching performances to stellar rookie debuts, the Cranberry Baseball League is thrilled to announce the 2024 regular-season award winners, as we honor those who excelled on the diamond both individually and collectively.

PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Justin Neidel of the Hock Valley Panthers secured the coveted title of Player of the Year for his outstanding all-around contributions in the 2024 regular season.

Offensively, Neidel boasted an outstanding .397 batting average, notching 25 hits, including 3 home runs, and driving in 16 runs. His standout performance came on June 23 against the Braintree White Sox, where he homered and doubled, going a perfect 4-4 with 4 RBIs in the game.

PITCHER OF THE YEAR

Hunter Dean of the Hock Valley Panthers emerged as the recipient of the prestigious Pitcher of the Year award.

Dean had a miniscule 0.28 ERA, allowing only 1 earned run during the season. He had 38 strikeouts in 24.2 innings with a league-leading .730 WHIP.

ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

Jackson Morse from the Braintree White Sox has been named the 2024 Cranberry League Rookie of the Year. The first-year infielder made an immediate impact both at the plate and on the field, showcasing remarkable talent and potential in his inaugural season.

Morse had an outstanding .348 batting average with one home run and an impressive .945 OPS. As Morse continues to develop and hone his skills, the future looks bright for this promising young talent. We look forward to witnessing his continued growth and success in the seasons to come.

MANAGER OF THE YEAR

Mark Nickerson of the Mass. Hurricanes has been recognized as the 2024 Manager of the Year for his sterling leadership and commitment to his team's overall success.

Nickerson led the Hurricanes to an impressive 16-8 regular season record, finishing tied for 2nd place.
